OUR STORY
Murray Elite Basketball began its journey as the Iowa Barnstormers, a program known for cultivating young talent and fostering a love for the game. As our program evolved, so did our vision. Today, we proudly reintroduce ourselves as Murray Elite Basketball, a name that reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence, both on and off the court.
Our legacy is deeply intertwined with the inspiring journeys of Keegan and Kris Murray. During their 11th-grade year, the Murray twins played pivotal roles on our Silver team, setting a new standard for what it means to be a part of our program. Their extraordinary dedication, skill, and character exemplify the caliber of athletes we are proud to develop at Murray Elite Basketball. Today, both Murrays play in the NBA.
OUR PROMISE
At Murray Elite Basketball, we promise more than elite competition—we commit to a transformative experience for young athletes in grades 7–11 that develops the whole player. We intentionally go beyond the court to instill self-mastery, discipline, teamwork, and character, believing that true success is measured not only by performance, but by personal growth. Through a dynamic coaching staff, innovative training, and a supportive community, we carry forward the legacy of excellence established by the Murray brothers while empowering every athlete to reach their full potential in basketball and in life.
